The UFC makes its debut at the Sphere on Saturday, September 14 for a first-of-its-kind blend of cage fighting and groundbreaking high-tech effects. A few seats are still available, but really, these are geared towards the one-percent. According to Tickpick, the average ticket price reached $2,871 about a month ago while remaining seats are going “on sale” for an average of $1,265 with a $798 get-in price. Overall, the company is expected to set a whopping record gate of $23 million.
If you refuse to spend that much to get inside — and I don’t blame you — here are some viewing parties to watch UFC 306: Riyadh Season Noche UFC, featuring a main event of Bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley vs. challenger Merab Dvalishvili.
The Durango’s sports bar is a fresh take on the concept, offering indoor seating by the sportsbook and an outdoor patio with a video wall, games, and activities. The pretzel charcuterie platter, short rib sliders, and Root Beer Old Fashioned are delicious, but you’ll pay a $75 cover charge to get in.
🍺 BrewDog
The Strip beerhouse has a rooftop patio for house-brewed beer and Strip views during any UFC viewing party. The pizzas are better than what you get at your average sports bar and the lobster-topped fries are large enough to share.
PT’s Taverns is hosting UFC watch parties at PT’s Gold, Sierra Gold, and SG Bar locations listed here. Specials include $3 Pink Whitney vodka shots, $5 Bud Light pints, and $7 Vodka Red Bulls. You can also pair a shot of UFC President Dana White’s Howler Head banana whiskey with a can of Happy Dad seltzer for $10.
The Front Yard has a locals-friendly vibe and fair prices east of the Strip. Entry is free with each person required to spend at least $50 on food and drinks. Keep your eyes peeled for free shot giveaways and unlimited packages of Ellis Island beer.
Circa’s rooftop pool deck keeps the water heated year-round, so take a dip and watch UFC on Stadium Swim’s massive video wall during a Fight House viewing party, which also includes the Canelo Alvarez/Edgar Berlanga boxing showdown from the T-Mobile Arena. General admission is $80.
🎶 Rumbazo
UFC Noche coincides with Mexican Independence Day weekend, which includes festivities like Rumbazo at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center. Saturday night will have a viewing party on site to catch the action while enjoying live Latin dance music, vendors, and an array of cultural cuisine.
The Sahara’s sports bar has more than 50 televisions and an in-house William Hill betting window, making it a perfect joint to watch UFC. Admission begins at $160.47, which sounds high, but includes $125 in food and drink credits. Don’t leave without trying the Crab Fries — french fries with crab seasoning.
The rooftop sports bar at the Paris is hosting a UFC 306 viewing party. All tickets include a $100 food-and-drink credit, which is a wash if you’re sitting indoors. Seats on the patio with views of the Bellagio fountains across the street will cost more.
🎉 Game On
Game On is one of the best reasons to visit Boulder Station. The sports bar is relatively new (adding some life to the casino), has a great shepherd’s pie, and walls of TV screens that wrap around the entire venue with plenty of seats. Things can change at any time, but last I heard, the daily happy hour runs 3 - 6 p.m., even during special events like UFC — and there’s no cover charge.
- You may have noticed there’s a lot of beer to love at these viewing parties. Phil Garcia of Khoury’s Fine Wine & Spirits talks to City Cast Las Vegas co-host Sarah Lohman about the craft beer explosion in Las Vegas and where to find the best brew.
