After bringing seafood to Middle America’s masses for decades, Red Lobster has filed for bankruptcy with nearly 90 restaurants closing across the country. Three Las Vegas locations are spared for now, but there’s better bang-for-your buck deals out there for shrimp and lobster.

🦞 The newly opened William B’s Steakhouse at the Suncoast has a delicious seafood tower, served hot in the style of a pan roast. A smaller version is just $40 during happy hour, along with $16 shrimp on ice.

🦞 Hot N’ Juicy Crawfish is a homegrown Vegas chain that’s gone nationwide, thanks to delightfully messy seafood boils, spicy seasonings, and the ability to pay by the pound or half-pound. There’s even a happy hour to save a few more bucks.

🦞 Cousins Maine Lobster, an L.A. food truck concept that got national attention on “Shark Tank,” has a Vegas presence too. Try the signature lobster roll “Connecticut style” — served warm with butter and lemon instead of mayo for $22.

🦞 One of my favorite new restaurants on the Stip, LPM at the Cosmopolitan, launches a new brunch this weekend. Go a la carte or do the Brunch Affair, which includes a whopping 10 family-style dishes for $85 per person, including Lobster Eggs Benedict and Salmon Carpaccio. (You get a ribeye steak too!)

🦞 Maryland pride is strong at Crab Corner. Get a taste of what it’s about during happy hour when oysters are just a buck and an order of bacon-wrapped shrimp is $6.
