How are your New Year’s Resolutions working out so far? We’re in the midst of “Veganuary” for those looking to turn over a new leaf and drop the beef. With that in mind, we’ve picked out some of our favorite plant-based restaurants in Las Vegas.

🍝 Tarantino’s serves 100% plant-based Italian food on Rainbow Boulevard in the Southwest Valley. Pastas, pizzas, and meat-free chicken parm are made with organic coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil.

🍕Earthly gives shoppers in Town Square an opportunity to sample a full plant-based menu. The pizzas are the main draw, including deep-dish options, but the intimate restaurant also serves sandwiches and an all-day brunch. Earthly was formerly known as Down 2 Earth Pizzeria, but that name is now used for a sister concept near Rainbow and Westcliff.

🫛 Vegetarian dishes are a staple of Indian cuisine, and Curry Leaf in the Southwest Valley is no exception. Taste the flavors in the mango coconut curry or stir-fried green beans.

🍽️ Crossroads Kitchen is the closest you’ll come to vegan fine dining in Las Vegas. Located inside Resorts World, Chef Tal Ronnen’s menu works best when it doesn’t try to reinvent meat-centric dishes with substitute ingredients. Go with the pastas, pizzas, and vegetable side dishes. Happy Hour runs 4-5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday.

🌮 Tacotarian serves plant-based tacos, burritos, nachos, and other Mexican-inspired favorites. Visit locations in the Southwest, Henderson, Mountain’s Edge, the Downtown Arts District, and on the Strip at the Miracle Mile Shops.

🚚 Chef Stacey Dougan’s Simply Pure earned the attention of former president (and famous vegan) Bill Clinton when it was a Container Park restaurant. Today, the concept is a food truck for plant-based cuisine. Try the jackfruit Philly Cheesesteak.

😋 Anima by EDO has plenty of meat on its menu of European-inspired tapas, but is incredibly considerate of dietary restrictions. The Gramercy restaurant also has an exceptional multicourse tasting menus for vegetarians ($79 per person) and vegans ($69 per person).

🌶️ Choose your spice level and order a meal at Komol in Historic Commercial Center. The restaurant has been serving Thai cuisine since 1986 and while it’s not strictly meat-free, the menu was designed with vegans and vegetarians in mind.

🌼 Flower Child is a fast-casual concept with locations in Summerlin and Green Valley Ranch. The menu stresses healthy ingredients with vegetarian and vegan dishes clearly identified. All produce is influenced by the “Dirty Dozen” list, which warns against fruits and vegetables with detectable levels of pesticides.

👍 File this under honorable mention: Every restaurant at the Wynn makes a point to carry at least a few thoughtful and creative vegan dishes — an idea originally hatched to accommodate former owner Steve Wynn’s dining preferences.
