If you’re a tourist, chances are good you’re already holed up in a Las Vegas hotel with everything you need within walking distance or the click of a rideshare app. Locals, however, tend to keep a skeptical eye on the Strip these days. It’s hard not to pay a visit without the perpetual feeling of being hosed 😣 And that begins the moment you park your car — but it doesn't have to be. Here’s where you can still find free parking on the Las Vegas Strip.

🚗 Free Hotel Parking Garages on the Strip

The list continues to shrink, but you can still park for free at the Sahara, Circus Circus, and Treasure Island.

💰 Free Parking Discounts on the Strip

Those with a Nevada ID or driver's license get the first three hours free at Caesars Entertainment properties (Caesars Palace, The Cromwell, Flamingo, Harrah’s, Horseshoe/Paris, The Linq, and Planet Hollywood), MGM Resorts properties (Aria, Bellagio, Cosmopolitan, Excalibur, Luxor, Mandalay Bay/Delano, MGM Grand, New York-New York, and Park MGM), and the Venetian/Palazzo. The Fontainebleau gives everyone the first four hours free (and is giving locals and rewards members unlimited free parking through at least May 31, 2026). The Wynn/Encore gives everyone the first three hours free. Resorts World gives free parking to any car with Nevada plates.

🚘 What About Valet?

Free valet used to be standard, but that practice is out the door. Valet charges in the $40 range aren’t uncommon these days — and that doesn’t include the tip. (Side note: Always remember to tip.) The Fontainebleau recently introduced limited, seasonal validation offers for valet. A secluded southwest valet is free for those visiting Hakkasan restaurant or nightclub at the MGM Grand.

🛍️ But … Shopping?

The Shops at Crystals and Shoppes at Mandalay Place valets are free. The Fashion Show Las Vegas mall has a free self-parking garage.

👀 Anything else?

It never hurts to be a rewards club member at your favorite casino resort. Higher tiers will have some sort of parking pass or discount, so check directly for the latest details. Caesars Entertainment and MGM Resorts also have affiliated credit cards that include free parking or discounts among the member perks.

👏 Hotels with Free Parking Near the Strip

There is free parking at Ahern, Gold Coast, Rio, and Palms. The Strat has free parking for locals. OYO now has free parking with validation via a clunky phone system.

🧐 The Fine Print

The above information can change at any time. This is Vegas, after all. And keep in mind, parking garages love to jack up the parking to a hefty flat “Event Rate” whenever there’s a big show, festival, or game nearby. In that case, your locals discount will probably go bye-bye 🥺
