Today we debut The Best, a new weekly segment in which we sort out Las Vegas’ grooviest aspects in a blast of debatably subjective praise — ours and yours. With Valentine’s Day just a few calendar squares away, it makes sense to begin with Best Romantic Restaurants.
The Strip is full of contenders, as this list and this list attest. But we’re going with Eiffel Tower Restaurant in Paris Las Vegas (above) for the obvious reason: You could float an armada of Hallmark movies on that view alone. No wonder readers April Zesbaugh and Lynn Rosenberg each recommended it. Or, as the Vital Vegas guy puts it, somewhat more muskily, “There is no known aphrodisiac like reserving table 56 at Eiffel Tower Restaurant.”
OK, let’s get off the Strip.
Marché Baccus: There was already plenty to love here — it’s French, it’s lakeside at Desert Shores — and now culinary hotshot Bradley Ogdenhas taken over the kitchen. Your sig other will get melty.
Trattoria Rustica: A small, hidden gem in Henderson that, according to Vogue Robinson, co-host of City Cast Las Vegas, “has true ‘Lady and the Tramp’ vibes.” Good date night joint for new loves or longtime partners.
Lindo Michoacan: Specifically the Henderson location, where it’s all about a view of the valley that practically compels hand-holding. “It's a little loud,” says City Cast producer Layla Muhammad, “but if you sit by the window at night the view is worth it.”
Nora’s Italian Cuisine: Nora’s has gotten many accolades over the years, and is ideal for a couple's night. “Hands down,” insists reader Te Ann L.
