When it comes to nationwide corporate campaigns, Small Business Saturday is one of my favorites. Taking place the day after Black Friday each year, the concept was actually hatched by American Express in 2010 as a way to support local independent businesses throughout the country. A year later, it was officially cosponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration and continues to grow larger every year — including right here in Las Vegas.
