Will A.I. Take Over Vegas Hospitality Jobs?
We’re bringing back our biggest stories of 2023 this week, and nothing quite shook Las Vegas to its hospitality core like the advances in A.I. this year.
Both Resorts World and the Cosmopolitan use AI chatbots to answer guest queries about where to go and what to do. The Sphere has an Android greeter, and there’s even a robot bouncer at a Vegas strip club. What’s more: Reports released in December 2023 suggest Las Vegas is the city MOST at risk in the U.S. for an A.I. takeover. But how will AI evolve, and will it take over our city’s legendary hospitality and gaming industry?
Geoff Carter, senior editor at the Las Vegas Weekly, did a deep dive into these issues and runs through it with co-host Dayvid Figler in this episode from April. Also, stay until the end. We invite ChatGPT into the conversation, and as A.I. generated headlines might say - it will shock you!
