U2 at the Sphere, School Start Times, and New Street Vendor Rules
The Nevada State Board of Education (SBE) approved a proposal Wednesday which would require schools to apply for a waiver if they want to start school before 8 a.m., citing teen sleep deprivation as a major concern. But CCSD is fighting back, claiming the plan is “rushed” and could lead to unintended consequences. Today, host Dayvid Figler, News 3 reporter Brett Forrest, and CCLV lead producer Sonja Cho Swanson get into the weeds of this proposal.
