How Chandler Jones Is Starting a Conversation About Involuntary Commitment in Vegas
Over the last few weeks, now-former Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Chandler Jones has had what appears to be a very public mental breakdown, including a series of tweets in which he says he was taken to a hospital and medicated against his will. Jones’ involuntary commitment have kicked off a wave of discussions around mental health, including a big one: How do you get someone involuntarily committed for mental health treatment in Nevada? Plus, how can you tell if they need help, and what happens during their 72-hour stay? Host Dayvid Figler gets some answers from Nevada psychotherapist Dr. Jim Jobin.
