Before you do anything else this summer, check out the new Higher Love exhibit at the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. As always, admission is free along with the first three hours of parking at the Bellagio for locals. But that’s just the beginning of a long list of things to do in June.

🏀 ⚾ 👊 Sports in Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Aces just kicked off a new season, hoping to three-peat as WNBA champs. June is also a great time to enjoy the open air of the Las Vegas Ballpark while watching the Las Vegas Aviators. Vegas native Jimmy Kimmel throws out the first pitch June 2. The UFC hosts International Fight Week June 24-30, featuring a two-day fan expo, the Hall of Fame induction ceremony, and the return of Conor McGregor at UFC 303.

😋 An Indulgent Food Fest

The World’s 50 Best Restaurants comes to Las Vegas for the first time with an awards ceremony at the Wynn June 5. A series of affiliated culinary events run June 3-6, including Revelry at the Wynn (highlighted by The Feast outdoor dine-around June 8) and Indulge at Resorts World (featuring a Stubborn Seed pop-up preview June 4).

More culinary events:

  • Restaurant Week, featuring prix-fixe menus at restaurants throughout the valley to benefit Three Square, June 3-14.
  • First Friday on June 7 with more than 20 food trucks and a Summer Solstice theme.
  • Legacy en Blanc at the Legacy Club atop Circa June 21.

🎉 Juneteenth

Juneteenth has only grown in scope since becoming an official federal holiday in 2021. Learn about culture and history at the Las Vegas Juneteenth Festival at World Market Center June 15 and the Henderson Juneteenth Festival at the Water Street Plaza June 19.

👙 Pool Parties

If you’re into the rave scene, you’ll appreciate the dayclubs that dominate the Strip. Here’s a tip: Liquid at Aria offers locals free admission on Wednesdays with a one-hour open bar for the ladies. Prefer something more laid-back? Topgolf has a free 21-and-over Hideaway Pool that’s back open for the season. Monthly Summer Bash parties are new this year and the next one is June 29. Otherwise, check out Sammy’s Island, a rock-themed pool revamp by Sammy Hagar at the Palms. Locals can book free cabanas Monday-Thursday.

🏳️‍🌈 Pride

Las Vegas Pride Month is October, when you can celebrate without the overbearing heat. But Southern Nevada isn’t ignoring the nationwide Pride celebration in June. The month is full of events, including the Henderson Pride Festival at the Water Street Plaza June 1 and Pahrump Proud Festival at the Pahrump Nugget June 30.
