Las Vegas is happy to celebrate Pride Month with the rest of the country in June. But it gets a little hot around here during summer, so we save the biggest LGBTQ parties and events for Las Vegas Pride Month in October. Things pick up in a big way this weekend with the annual parade, plus more fun in an already busy month.
đ„ł Festivals
Girlchella Pride Weekend is promising DJs, fashion, Coachella vibes, and feminine energy with queer women in mind for a two day celebration, Oct. 10-11, at Fergusons Downtown in the Fremont East district.
The Las Vegas Pride Parade on Oct. 10 begins with a block party at 6 p.m. by the main stage at 4th and Bridger in Downtown Las Vegas. The parade itself gets underway at 7 p.m., traveling down 4th St. from Gass to Ogden. Stick around for food trucks, drink stations, exhibitors, and live entertainment. Those traveling in from Pahrump or Mesquite can sign up for a shuttle bus. The Phoenix Bar & Lounge is throwing an after-party with a show at 11 p.m.
The Las Vegas Pride Festival traditionally takes place within a day of the parade, but is waiting an extra week to help spread out the fun. Head to Desert Breeze Park on Oct. 18 for music, food, art, and entertainment for all ages 3 - 11 p.m. Tickets are $10 and include a one-year gift membership to the Human Rights Campaign.

DJ Esto Vega headlines Horror Rush, a mashup of Pride and Halloween at Oddfellows with Deep Eddy Vodka cocktails on Oct. 8, 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Millennium Fandom hosts Unicorns!, a cosplay Pride party inspired by âDeadpool & Wolverineâ on Oct. 10, from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Resorts World debuts Drag Brunch: A Vegas Pride Month Fiesta at ÂĄVIVA! on Oct.11 at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $85 per person.
An Out on the Roof party comes to the rooftop terrace of We All Scream on Oct. 11, 3-8 p.m. with $10 admission.
Wind things down with the monthly Las Vegas Pride Latin Party at Dust on Oct. 24. The night includes a cocktail hour at 9 p.m., a show at 10 p.m., and more.
đ All-Ages Activities
In a regular monthly tradition for AREA15, the Portal hosts a Pride Community Mixer 5-7 p.m. on Oct. 8, followed promptly by Pride Family Bingo. Both are free to attend and bingo game packs start at $20 (or $10 in advance online).
The Rainbow Library welcomes visitors of all ages and genders for an LGBTQIA+ Hangout, 3-5 p.m. on Oct. 12, a kids workshop and history lesson on the life and art of Keith Haring, 4:30-5:30 p.m. on Oct. 13, and a Spooky Game Night, 3 - 5 p.m. on Oct. 26.
đ Pool Parties
The Sahara hosts regular Elevate Pride Pool Parties and this month is no exception. Arrive between noon and 2 p.m. for BOGO drinks and continue the party until 6 p.m. Oct. 12 & 19. Tickets begin at $25.
The Bent Inn & Pub is teaming up with The Center for a Resort Experience from noon to 5 p.m. on Oct. 11. Expect drag performances, a foam-covered dance floor, mechanical bull riding, and fun by the pool. Tickets begin at $20.
- Celebrate throughout the month at bars and other businesses in the Fruit Loop, a district recognized for its historical and cultural relevance by the Nevada Legislature.
